Thank you--somehow this was incredibly helpful and necessary for me to hear today. I helped an elderly neighbor with her dog today and afterwards I felt better and calmer than I have in days. Community and Connection on a real level-that what keeps us afloat over the long run.

Thank you! I’ve been questioning this a lot lately, too…who are we? The terms no longer seem appropriate nor accurate. I had identified for too many years as bleeding-heart liberal, default democrat and more recently as a progressive social democrat. I created my own title as “spiritual anarchist”.

I know the parties we’ve long identified with are now archaic and unrecognizable.

So, it maybe it’s time to unload the burden of labels, reclaim our heartful humanity and be in the question of “who might we be becoming” together! 🙏🏻🤷🏼‍♀️

Read the book, Life After Doom. It helps make some sense out of the nonsensical. It's sobering and promising, a relevant phenomenon in our current conundrum. The problem is not just with politics and environment, we have a capitalist and religious issue as well. I'm finding myself surprised that I just wrote that, and yet I'm at a place where I don't think I can deny it anymore.

It IS good to have spaces like this community, soren so we can limit our exposure to the media insanity and ask…what would Buddha do? * we already know this is trump 2.0 on steroids now that the king has grabbed his power.

because we are clear how tyranny works, we refuse to act like the oppressed the spellbound or the raging resistance. I am not sure i always find this sweet spot but at least i am focused and not fixated on the outrageous antics of a maniacal king punch drunk on power🫠

i would prefer to ask what would Bodhi do - if Bodhi is awakening but not buddha not anti woke woke but not asleep either🙂🙏. I am also recalling the words of our IFS leader, Dick Schwarz who suggests if we can access 20% of our Self led inner Source, we can be standing in - and on - the right side of good. Also i appreciate communities like you have created here and in the Wisdom 2.0 Disruptions coming up so thank you soren!

Thank you. Your words, concerning what is truely important, help me a lot because here in South America we are also experiencing a big crack in society regarding political views. Huge levels of social violence manifest in behaviours, speech and thoughts. I try to keep myself away from the TV news, although I need to know what is happening in the world. My practice helps me to listen with compassion, and let go. I have learned that to cultivate peace within me, in my mind, and my speech, can be my greatest contribution to the world.

yes indeed, you (good people of the north american continent) are not alone in facing the tectonic shifts & quicksands. I love & paraphrase what your reader Linda says above, be in the question of who we want to be becoming! let this be the unifying direction for the diversity of our energies! bring on all the big questions, there is so much potential & space for all kinds of revolution, micro & macro. with love from spain.

Excellent- one of the best things in the public sphere that I’ve read in the midst of all this mess! My spiritual teacher has said similar things in our satsangs and in her emails. Less news, more connection with one another. But also, the foundations are being shaken to allow for something truly new (and far better) to take place. I am concerned, but hopeful. Staying connected to Source (and one another) is vital - always. We are indeed One. I’m trying to remember that - not always easy, but so important. Anyway, thank you for saying things that I’ve been thinking.
