Dear Friends, Some years ago at a talk, a teacher was speaking about impermanence — how everything arises, exists and passes, and there is no holding to anything. A person in the audience spoke up, and said to the effect: “So true, all life is impermanent,” and went to share a more disengaged, aloof approach to life.
So true - where we are coming from is everything and I think it can be as simple as are we speaking from love & connection or fear and separation.
I love this, Soren. Beautifully said and lovely to think about - especially on MLK Day.
This is beautiful Soren. Words reflect how we inhabit the world, and are how we inhabit the world.
