I’ve taken a break from writing here the past few weeks, partly due to the holidays and partly because I’ve been deeply focused on an AI article.

It is called THE HUMANITY RACE and it shares my lessons, learnings, and vision for how I think the world of AI might take shape—and what our focus as a society needs to be.

Wisdom 2.0 Update

I have decided to take a break this year from hosting our annual Wisdom 2.0 Summit — the first time in 17 years. I am doing this for two reasons:

1) SPACE. I feel it is time to revision and rethink what that event wants to be. And I need some space to do that.

2. AI CHAPTER. The AI world continues to call me. I wrote my latest book THE ESSENTIAL last year as a way of addressing what I see. Though not an AI book, it was inspired by it.

Wisdom & AI Summit

I also started the Wisdom & AI Summit several years ago to explore this topic. and we will be holding this again in Mid-May of this year.

The event is about AI—but also much more. AI is only one part of the conversation. Humanity must be just as central. As I like to say:

In a world guided by of Wisdom and Compassion, this emerging AI chapter could be the greatest our world has have ever experienced.

In a world guided by Greed and Hatred, it could be one of the darkest.

So, how do we do support the former instead of the latter?

This could be one of the greatest challenges of our time, and our very survival may depend on it.
