Dear Friends,
Life generally involves some level of disruption โ and this is not all bad.
Most healing journeys begin with disruption.
People turn to a practice like Meditation not when life is easy, but when friction, turmoil, or uncertainty arise.
Imagine a life without any disruption? What would we learn? How would we build resilience?
AND โฆ disruption can cause suffering. If we had the power, wouldnโt we all act to prevent the disruptions that led to the last World War, the genocides in Rwanda and Darfur, or the senseless violence in the Middle East? Without hesitation, we would.
So here is the great paradox:
How do we embrace the TEACHINGS OF DISRUPTION while working to prevent needless suffering?
I think this is our koan at this time. The age of disruption has started, and I do not sense it will pass soon.
More disruption is likely on the way. Climate change, AI, political changes โฆ. We are just getting started.
Wisdom 2.0 2025 will focus on this question: What are the teachings of Disruption? Personally and globally?
Join us live in San Francisco May 5th and 6th. (today is the last day for early bird tickets) or join online.
