Dear Friends,
There are those who think AI will be just another wave hitting the beach and others who believe … it will be a tsunami!
No one knows. However, my sense is it will be the latter,
Most jobs will change dramatically, including yours, as AI takes shape in our world.
But who will create this new world? We cannot leave it up to the technology companies or the government to guide this next chapter. The public must be involved.
The Wisdom & AI Summit aims to support an open dialogue about this future. Rather than thinking, “AI is awesome,” or “AI will destroy us,” we adopt the perspective:
“What if AI is an invitation?”
It is inviting us to transform.
The Benefits and Dangers
On the one side, people proficient in AI will gain an increasing advantage in the workplace. It also offers us massive benefits in identifying and treating diseases. It only makes sense to use and benefit from it.
At the same time, this is an immense power placed in the hands of corporations that often seek to manipulate us into buying things we do not need and presenting unrealistic images of happiness and success.
Whenever companies like Meta report record quarters, it means one thing and one thing only:
With the help of AI, they are enticing us to spend more time on their platform. That is all.
At Wisdom & AI, we will explore how to balance the amazing benefits of AI, with the potential dangers, so a more thoughtful approach may be found. We are gathering all those who care about this topic, from teachers, to tech workers, to concerned citizens.

Hi Suzanne, you may like some of my work on Ai and society from a more humanistic and spiritual philosophical viewpoint I’ve done quite a few speaking events in this very subject pre and during Covid would be good to collaborate let me know your thoughts ….
As we fear AI destroying us, although it could be a "fools rush in" situation, where I am not enough of a whiz at it, I do wonder if as the smartest thing going it will see deeper than trouble it can cause with enlightenment it can bring. I have a thought-provoking example of that, that everyone can have an easy go at, in my Substack today, :
