Dear Friends,
There are many harsh curses one could imagine, but perhaps one of the worst is: “May you never be able to sit still.”
If we cannot sit still, we cannot enjoy a meal, a sunset, a conversation with a friend, or a moment of silence.
And this is pretty much what the algorithms of our day are training us to be! They offer one dopamine hit after another.
So for the month of December, we will practice sitting still in meditation and being together.
And to make this as easy as possible, the series is by donation (pay whatever you like!)
Guests include Sharon Salzberg, Trudy Goodman, Rhonda Magee, Roshi Joan Halifax, and Jon Kabat-Zinn. (All sessions will be recorded)
There is always more information “out there” to consume. If you want to cultivate the inner dimension, please join us!

Tomorrow at 10am PST, we start our series on Personal and Social Change, and Dr Richard Schwartz and I will be exploring:
“Understanding the Election from a Parts Perspective.”
Our identities often declare, “I am this, and I am not that,” but a parts perspective invites us to explore:
“What if all these parts — the ones we love and the ones we hate — exist in each one of us?
And potentially, if we can see what parts we merge or blend with and what parts we exile or push away, we can create a more fluid and integrated world.
The series is also by donation.
