“Our fear of death is directly equitable to our fear of life.” — Stephen Levine
Dear Friends,
When I was in my early twenties, I often attended Death and Dying Retreats led by Stephen and Ondrea Levine.
While I did not have a life threatening illness nor was caring for someone who was dying, the topic seemed quite relevant to me. What could death teach me about life?
There was a rawness, a presence, a focus on what really matters. Oddly enough, at times, facing death opened the door to a deeper appreciation for life.
People on their deathbeds often have various sentiments:
"I wish I had spent more time with the people I love."
"I wish I had been true to myself, not what others expected of me."
"I wish I had let myself be happier."
"I wish I had had the courage to express my feelings."
"I wish I hadn’t worked so hard."
"Why did I worry so much?"
"Love is all that matters."
There are lessons to be learned realizing our time here is limited.

THE ESSENTIAL SERIES
Next week on May 12th we will launch THE ESSENTIAL SERIES (By Donation) with Gabor Maté and others where we will explore what matters.
This is part of a launch of my new book by the same that will be released May 21st.
(I just started an Instagram page for it, so if you are on that platform, feel free to follow here.)
If you are interested in exploring what is essential, I hope you will join me for this series. (By Donation) See guests and learn more below and on the website.
Blessings,
"Death as an Advisor" dances beautifully with "The Living~Dying Duet" -- awareness of our dying makes our living richer, and awareness of our living makes our dying more meaningful. We play the music as our Living and our Dying dance a duet.
