Dear Friends,
We just finished our first ever Wisdom & AI Summit, exploring the impact AI will have on the world and what we are each called to do.
We brought together leaders from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, along with activists and wisdom teachers.
It is the first time I know of where these two worlds came together, with the leaders of AI in the conversation.
There were many amazing sessions. One particularly powerful session was with activist Van Jones on "The AI Revolution and Human Well Being" who reminds us “you can be the light.” I hope you enjoy it.
We will release more videos soon.
AN EMERGING THEME
One theme that came forth was the need to slow down, to be patient, to not hurry technology faster than humans have the capacity to handle it.
Yet this push to hurry, to win, to get everything done now is just as much in me.
As I write this, I notice my system in a bit of a hurry. There is a long list of to dos for me today, and I find myself moving faster than I need … yet it is amazing how quickly we can shift.
I wonder, as you read this, can we slow down together? Can we take a breath together? What if we engage this moment as if everything is unfolding just as it needs to unfold?
Eckhart Tolle reminds us, “Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life.”
The technologies humans create are an expression of our consciousness. And maybe more than ever we need to ask, “Can we deepen our awareness? Can we create from presence?”
This, as I see it, is our work together, and why Wisdom 2.0 exists.
To wake up together, and to engage the world with a deep understanding of our interconnectedness.
Technologies are important, but they are not the thing; our awareness is the thing.
Blessings,
SOREN
